The Concord Community School Board is a body of elected officials who represent the interest of the communities they serve. The five school board members are state officials who live within the school corporation boundaries and are elected to serve four-year terms. The board is charged with approving the annual budget and tax rates, adopting policies, authorizing the spending of funds, and employment-related matters.

Can visitors address the board?
Visitors who wish to address the board are asked to complete a yellow registration card prior to the meeting. The deadline for submitting the form is five minutes after the meeting begins. Visitors who have submitted the form may speak for up to three minutes during the “Hearing of Visitors” portion of the meeting.

Meeting Schedule

The school board typically meets on the first and third Mondays of the month at the Concord Education Center, 59040 Minuteman Way, Elkhart, IN 46517.
