School Board President Jennifer Davis Earns Gold Seal Leadership Certification

Concord Community Schools is proud to recognize School Board President Jennifer Davis for completing the Indiana School Boards Association’s 2026 Board Presidents’ Gold Seal Leadership Certification program. 

Mrs. Davis was first elected to the Concord Community Schools Board of School Trustees in November 2014 and took office in January 2015. She has served the Concord community on the board for more than a decade.

The Gold Seal professional development program is designed to strengthen leadership and governance skills among Indiana school board presidents. Participants complete training focused on areas including student achievement, fiscal oversight, public transparency and effective board leadership.

“School board service is one of the most important leadership roles in a community,” said Superintendent Dan Funston. “We appreciate Mrs. Davis' willingness to devote additional time and effort to professional development that benefits our schools and the families we serve.”

As Board President, Mrs. Davis works alongside fellow board members and district leadership to help guide the school corporation, support responsible stewardship of resources and advance opportunities for Concord students.
