Students in High Ability classes (Grades 1-3) at Concord West Side are embarking on an exciting journey with the First Lego League Explore projects! Using Legos and robots, these young innovators are exploring ocean layers, discovering marine life, and learning about careers tied to studying the sea. Together, they’re tackling real-world problems related to the ocean, designing creative solutions, and building models with their Lego and robotics skills. Their hard work will culminate in presentations at the school's science fair, where their efforts will shine!
Through the FLL Explore program, students are developing essential skills like teamwork, communication, creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, and even coding—setting them up for success in school and beyond! This fantastic opportunity is made possible by the Full Service Community Schools Grant, which Concord West Side is proud to continue receiving over the next three years. #ConcordPride #WeAreConcord
