HS students

KINDERGARTEN AND NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION

Families that are new to Concord Community Schools are asked to complete our online New Student Registration form.

Required documents (student birth certificate, parent/guardian photo ID, residency information, and immunization records) can be uploaded through the online portal or copies can be made at the Concord Education Center, 59040 Minuteman Way, Elkhart, IN 46517.

*Students must be age 5 on or before August 1, 2024*

HS students

RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION

Current Concord families will be asked to complete a Returning Student Registration form for the 2024-2025 school year.

This is a NEW process and should take approximately 5 minutes to complete per child.

Parents will receive information via email about how to complete this process.

HS students

TRANSFER STUDENT REGISTRATION

Effective May 29, 2024: The transfer student enrollment window for the 2024-2025 school year is now closed. Limited space is available for kindergarten students. Transfers at all other grade levels are closed.

April 17, 2024: Kindergarten Roundup at Concord Ox Bow and Concord West Side

April 18, 2024: Kindergarten Roundup at Concord South Side and Concord East Side

June 3, 2024: Transfer Student Lottery (if applicable)

August 14, 2024: First Day of the 2024-2025 School Year

Welcome to Concord Community Schools – we are excited to have you join our school district!

In addition to preparing all students for success, we offer enriching and diversified educational opportunities, after-school programs, community continuing education courses, and numerous athletic opportunities.

Whether your family has recently moved to our area, your child is transferring schools, or your kindergartner is going to be heading to school for the first time, the Central Registration Office offers everything you need to enroll your child in any of our seven schools in our district.

Documents to Bring

The following documents will be helpful during the enrollment process:

  • Parent/guardian photo ID

  • Student’s birth certificate or court documents for legal guardianship

  • Proof of residency: Lease/rental agreement or mortgage statement

  • Student’s immunization records

  • Student’s medical alerts or conditions

  • Any legal documents school personnel should be aware of

If you prefer not to submit these documents online, please bring them to the Concord Education Center at 59040 Minuteman Way, Elkhart, IN 46517.

Immunization Requirements

It is the policy of Concord Community Schools to exclude any student who does not meet the immunization requirements set forth by the Indiana State Department of Health and the State of Indiana, until the immunization requirements are met.

Families must ensure students receive the appropriate vaccinations and must bring the records of those vaccinations to the school. The health department or doctor’s office does not send the records to the school.

Transportation

The Concord Transportation Department delivers about 4,100 students to and from school daily. All in-district students are eligible for school bus transportation. Click here to learn more.
