After school part-time positions are available for the 24-25 school year! September 3, 2024. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:45-6:15, Concord will host a Boys and Girls Club site for our CIS and CJHS students. We are hiring Program Assistants at $14.55-15.60 an hour.

The Minority Health Coalition’s is offering FREE health screenings, vision exams, lead testing, blood pressure, glucose screenings, adult & childhood immunizations and much more! Adults must be present with their child. Please share and spread the word! #BackToSchool

Last week, our senior class had a heartwarming walk down memory lane as they revisited the hallways of their elementary school. Now, in just a few hours, they will be taking another significant step forward—walking across the stage to receive their diplomas. On Tuesday, March 19th, 6 CHS sophomores attended the Careerwise Apprentice job interviews featuring Elkhart County businesses. Students presented their resumes and met with 3-6 employers for interviews. Several have already been asked for second interviews! #Weareconcord

It runs from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is located at the Community Lecture Room, enter through Door #16 at the student parking lot. Concord early graduate, Ceaton Bowling, has accepted a position at Thor Industries as a LEAP assistant. Ceaton was one of 10 Concord seniors who completed the first Thor Industries Learning Lab Certifications in February. He will be working in the LEAP program, an interactive program designed to increase the awareness of the RV Industry and provide career pathways for students. Ceaton will be helping area students with problem-solving and team building skills with activities for 5th to 8th grade students. Local students participate in RV tours, THOR activity books, THOR RV Lego builds and THOR RV Design programs. Thor's LEAP program, in the last year, visited 61 schools, reaching 5,470 students across the various communities in Elkhart County. Concord Community Schools will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday, January 16th) due to inclement weather. Students will participate in virtual learning from home.
