The 2023-2024 school year is fast approaching! Here is some important information to get the school year off to a smooth start. The first day of school is Wednesday, August 16, 2023.

A list of back to school events have been posted on our website. To learn more about these events, click here

During these events, elementary students will learn who their teacher is and have the opportunity to tour the building. Parents can bring supplies to the back to school event, or send them with students on the first day of school.

Schedules for older students will be posted in PowerSchool. (They're not finalized yet, but will be ready for back to school night!)

Free/reduced meal forms were mailed to students’ home addresses earlier this month. However, an issue with the mailing resulted in some English-speaking families receiving the form in Spanish. Our apologies for this mistake!

If you need a copy of this form, please:

  1. Go online to, print a copy of the form, fill it out, and bring it to the Concord Education Center or your child’s back to school night

  2. Complete a paper copy at the Concord Education Center, 59040 Minuteman Way, Elkhart, IN 46517

  3. Complete a paper copy at your child’s back to school night

  4. Complete the form online at

All in-district families are asked to log into the EZ routing system to indicate whether or not transportation is needed for their student(s). Transportation is not provided for transfer students.

If your student attended Concord Community Schools last year and did not have a change of address, they will be automatically moved into EZ routing for the 2023-2024 school year and you do not need to update your forms. Transportation for all students in EZ Routing will go live on August 8th.

If you have a new student, or a change of address, you will need to submit a transportation request with your student's school. To receive busing on the first day of school, it is important that parents put in a request before August 1.
